It opens doors to international projects (SELFIE with EfVET, SELFIE WBL2), sharing of best practices, and fostering quality and innovation. We actively collaborate with members like Alessandro Mele (COMETA Formazione), Tibor Dori, Wolfgang Stutzmann, and Nicola Alimenti, strengthening internationalisation and curriculum development. EfVET is not just a network – it is a community where knowledge, experience, and values circulate among partners, teachers, and students. Each new collaboration reinforces our belief that only through international cooperation can we achieve inclusive, modern, and high-quality VET for the future.”

Being part of EfVET has given me and our teachers the chance to meet and work with colleagues from institutions across Europe who share the same passion for development in VET. Through the network, I have found reliable partners for projects, mobility, benchmarking and many other areas of vocational education. Participating in thematic teams, such as my college Hyria in the Tourism Thematic Team, has opened doors to multicultural collaboration for us, bringing new ideas and friendships. Most importantly, EfVET provides a collegial network where I can always ask for advice and support – a true community that makes professional cooperation both meaningful and inspiring.

EfVET membership has given me a unique opportunity to develop my skills and broaden my expertise in the field of vocational education and training. Its international network has opened doors to new cooperation projects, education export opportunities, and a wealth of inspiration for developing Ylä-Savo Vocational College. I have gained valuable contacts from across Europe and beyond – relationships that have grown into both professional partnerships and genuine friendships. EfVET events and community have provided experiences that allow me to see the future of VET from a wider, more international perspective. EfVET truly connects and strengthens the European VET community.

EfVET is more than a network – it’s a trusted community. For KPEDU, EfVET opens doors to high-quality partnerships, shared expertise, and meaningful international collaboration. As the leader of the Global VET group, I’ve gained new dimensions to my professional network, connecting with passionate educators across cultures. These relationships often evolve into friendships, built on mutual trust and shared goals. EfVET empowers us to co-create inclusive, future-oriented vocational education, and gives KPEDU a strong voice in European and global VET development. It’s a platform where ideas grow, people connect, and impact multiplies.

As a VET leader or coordinator it is a very good opportunity to be a member of EFVET. International coordinators are often pretty much on their own with the international daily work, and being a member, you are a part of an international family. You can be connected to a lot similar persons through out Europe, you can make projects together, you can get new information and develop yourself, your school and your students. Join the annual conference, feel the vibes and be a part of a very friendly, safe and including community. You won’t regret.

Being part of EfVET has been an empowering and enriching experience.
